TUCSON: Intro to WireKnitZ & make “Convertibles Bracelet” with Norma Melton – Feb. 5, 2013
Instructor: Norma Melton, Founder of WireKnitZ® www.WireKnitZ.com
Please join me for an introduction to the five unique Series of WireKnitZ® - the innovative copper wire knit®. A sample of each Series will be provided for your personal experimentation while we discuss the differences and attributes through demonstration and application. You will also learn many techniques and experience firsthand the tools used for fun and easy manipulations and cold connections.
We will each make one “Convertibles Bracelet” incorporating the heavy gauge tight knit 3000 Series, or heavy gauge medium knit 5000 Series, with magnet clasp. A printed tutorial with step by step color photographs is included. This is the washable alternative to leather and may be beaded if desired. This bracelet is so versatile; connect two bracelets and make a choker necklace or a few and make a belt! All materials and tools provided.
Workshop Fee: $55 including all materials and use of tools
