Rita Hammock shared her impressionistic water landscape that she started with Molly Colegrove, at Sauder Village, on August 13. Rita used all kinds of fiber, new & vintage dyed wools, pantyhose, & WireKnitZ®. This may become a wall hanging, or she may attach it to the top of her wool cutter box for other rug hookers to see when she goes to rug camps.

I had the pleasure of meeting Rita while taking my last look at the Bead Dreams display at the 2010 Bead&Button Show. It was my first trip to Milwaukee and I think we were both trying to take in as much as we could before they locked the doors, or risk spending the night, on the show’s very last day.  Meeting Rita will always be a fond memory of my first experience at B&B!

…Thank you Rita for allowing me to share your landscape with our readers.
