Elaine has been the official jewelry designer for The Miss Universe Puerto Rico candidates for the past few years and many of her pieces have been worn by Hollywood celebrities such as Ashlan Gorse (E! News Host), Lindsey Haun (True Blood), Natasha Alam (True Blood), Fagun Thakrar, LaLa Vazquez, Fergie, Paz Vega and JoJo, to name a few. Arbel Shemesh, Advertising Coordinator and Designer at Fire
Mountain Gems and Beads, was so very kind to send several of her bejeweled polymer clay and WireKnitZ® masks and jewelry. Naturally, when I saw the masks I had to wear one and there it stayed for the entire first day of the show! I fluttered about and felt Tinkerbell-like throughout the day…it must have been the magical powers of Arbel’s mask.
Danielle stopped by the second day of the show and fell in love with this mask…however she agreed to leave it with us until the end of the show so others could experience the fantasy of Arbel’s masks. Thank you for sharing Danielle 😉

It was wonderful getting back to Tucson to catch up with our old friends and meet new ones! Here are some of the pix that were taken. Of course, there were many missed Kodak moments too…there’s always next year!

You may remember Lynn Pulley’s fiber vessels embellished with WireKnitZ® in last February’s newsletter. Well, Lynn has been very busy developing designs with WireKnitZ® and selling her work in and around Tucson.
Good to visit with Robert Liu, Co-editor of Ornament Magazine and finally meet his son, Patrick Liu-Benesh, Assistant Editor. They were both busy covering the shows but made time to stop and chat.
Rhona Wermer rarely travels without her chocolate and she was kind enough to share one of her bars with us…Thanks Rhona 😉
Nancy Seitz participated in the Solar Flare workshop and stopped by to discover all the other WireKnitZ® Series.
I would like to welcome Tonya and Briana of Bead Enchantment to the family of WireKnitZ® dealers.
Christeen Herrington is trying her best at being serious for the camera with her good friend, Maggie Tomei. These two designing women are embarking on a new chapter in their lives and to our good fortune, WireKnitZ® is part of their plan!

The Orbital Cuff Workshop turned into a ballet of wire working and a delightful exchange of new ideas. Martha Nachreiner shared how to make a WireKnitZ® bead with the tube wringer…more news about that in the future.

Of course this trip would not have been possible without my two companions, Sheryl Lamarand and Helena Hatten. Thanks to them, we had a successful show!
